I can’t find my way out
Help me
It’s getting hard to breathe
I can’t find my way out
Help me
I want to see the light
I can’t find my way out
Help me
I want to cry out loud
I can’t find my way out
Help me
The prompt for day 18 was to write a poem that involves an urgent journey and an important message. This poem started as one about being born. It can just as well be about wanting to leave this life. Or about the longing to be at the other side, beyond the pearly gates.
I probably shouldn’t have read this before writing my own!
This is a very good poem Angela. And you’re right, it could be any of these journeys, and so many more!
Thank you! You can rework mine if you like, just play with it. Let’s not be serious today 🙂
I’m afraid I’ll have to be very serious right now, lots of business paperwork to do. Granted, it should have been done a few weeks ago… procrastination, you said? 😉
I have an idea already of what I may write, if I find the time and/or energy. I have to admit, I’m feeling quite tired right now. No, I won’t take a nap, I’ll do at least part pf the paperwork first! :-p
You can do it! And plan a reward, that might help.
Sorry, my Procrastination Coach hat just turned up there. I’ll take it off now 😉
