Do you?

Don’t you wish there was a poem somewhere, laying on the ground, waiting to be picked up, or maybe for you to slide on it like it was a banana peel? Don’t you wish there was a poem somewhere, ready to knock on your door and go, knock, knock, who’s there? Don’t you wish there was a somewhere, waiting for you, longing for your love?

Don’t you wish there was a poem somewhere?

Don’t you wish?

Don’t you?

In my efforts to catch up once I slipped, you wouldn’t believe how many times I wanted a poem to just be there so I could just put it up. So do I? Oh BOY DO I.

This poem was born from that desire! I committed to too much this month. Good thing is that it’s made me better at physical self care, because I SO needed it. I’ve been swimming, ice skating, dancing… I expect The covid measures will make that impossible soon, that added to a sense of urgency: do it now, can’t do later.

I, too, have started an exercise routine that made me realize how much I missed exercising and how inspiring it can be; plus, I let go of my fixations on absolute perfection on schedule, which helped clear the congestion.
